  • At Amul Dairy in Anand, they allow a walking tour in the factory. One gets to see how butter and milk powder is made. Though the visit timing is 2:00pm to 4:00pm, it is better to reach the factory gate before 3:00pm so that one can see the working production line. The shift changes at 4:00pm and the machines stop at this time. There are no fees for this trip. Inside the factory premises, Amul has a parlor. But, there are Amul parlors all over and the rates are the sames at all parlors. So, there is no real need to buy anything in the factory. This visit can be a memorable experience for children.
